The Junior League of Asheville, one of Buncombe County’s oldest women-led volunteer organizations, will host a Volunteer Expo on February 9, 2019.

FEBRUARY 9TH, 2019

10AM-3PM

CROWNE PLAZA ASHEVILLE

Modeled after a job fair, the Volunteer Expo is an opportunity for residents of Western North Carolina to learn about local nonprofits, their volunteer needs, and other ways to support these organizations. To make this event a success, the League is pleased to partner with over 60 local nonprofits, including organizations that specialize in addressing health, poverty, legal aid, environmental stewardship, women’s issues, arts, civic leadership, technology, education, and animal welfare.

Local nonprofits are an incredible asset to our community and are responsible for much of Buncombe County’s progress. We believe that the Volunteer Expo will be a great opportunity for Western North Carolina residents to connect with outstanding nonprofit organizations, learn about what they are doing, and how they can contribute (time, talent, or treasure).

    Hello,

We are due to participate in the Expo, and I am working on a communication email to our volunteers who’ve signed up to help. Can you tell me if there is any specific information I should send out regarding the event – parking, food, etc.? This might all be coming in a future email, but thought I’d be in touch just in case.

Thanks, and Habitat is looking forward to being a part of the Expo again!

Our Rotary Club and Foundation is interested in setting up a booth at the Expo. Is there room for other non-profit organizations? Thank you!
