Our members join the Junior League of Asheville for a variety of reasons, but we stay because we believe that we make an impact. Through volunteer projects, fundraising events and social activities, we get hands-on experience building leadership skills and friendships while improving the community.
This is the perfect opportunity to learn about the mission of the Junior League of Asheville, meet some new friends, and raise awareness of the rising opioid addiction and foster care issues we are having right here in Buncombe County.
This event will include a 50-minute boot camp session at MADabolic Asheville on Thursday, October 18th at 6:30 PM with an informational session during your workout. Class will begin at 6:30, with refreshments and social time afterwards.
The class is free for all women interested in learning more about the Junior League of Asheville. There is a $10 charge for all current Members, with 100% of the proceeds going back to the League.
The Junior League of Asheville (JLA), is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, to developing the potential of women, and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
For over 90 years, the JLA has been both a powerful organization of trained women volunteers and a vital part of the Asheville community.
